The spot is first-rate and roomy, the food was delicious and the prices were very economical. quickly, effective service and very friendly staff members. I recommend this place.

Great location for delicious Sushi. Went there on a Friday I think. The service here is outstanding.

Sushi and the scene here is above par. staff is always nice even when they have a full house. the staff was very kind and attentive. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i loved to visit.

The wait staff was very nice and attentive. And the options available were pretty vast. But I felt like 2 my rolls weren't particularly flavorful, though they sounded amazing.I will say that the spicy Edamame is super good. And if that was all I had eaten, I'd go 5 stars for sure.

You can get better sushi for a better price pretty much anywhere. Try sushi hook, or mikunis.

Excellent sushi and service. I was very impressed with their service. My waiter was very punctual and sincere. The sushi was very good too. I ordered the Chef's Roll I think and it was very good. The waiter even asked me what I wanted my roll to have, so I asked for mostly salmon and white fish, fried onions, and to make it spicy. It was so worth it coming here for lunch. Great experience.

The squid appetizer was over cooked which made the squid/calamari very rubbery. The service wasn't that great I think they forgot about us we didn't get our menu for about 10 minutes then after our meal they gave us someone else's check.. they're a little unorganized to say the least

We haven't been here in years, we used to come fairly often and knew the staff. But it's a bit ordinary now. Maybe because we were there for lunch? Anyway the salad was good and well prepared but rushed (it WAS lunchtime)-- one drink came after the food. But the problem was a weird smell, not fishy, more old and rank and I finally realized it was our server's apron. It only wafted by when they passed and it was very notably filthy looking. I'm not going to describe them to avoid embarrassing them, but it was a real issue.

Delicious, service was amazing. Chefs were attentive and very fast and efficient. Even with the speed quality and presentation still fabulous. I will definitely come back.Try the mucho for dessert. Its spectacularly different.

Went for chicken terarychi. Not great. However they made a dessert that was great. So consider carefully what you order.

This place has been around a while. Serving super fresh sashimi and rolls.

Great service and rolls. Weird though, could not reach anyone b4 they opened to make reservations. Phone message didn't announce that it Miyagi. Not very professional. Food was good though.

Great little spot across from Loehmann's Plaza. The sashimi tasted fresh and flavorful. Gotta love fresh Wasabi. May never accept the prepared Wasabi again. Pretty busy location with a constant flow of customers. I'd recommend it!

Love sitting at the bar

Parking is a bit spotty yet the restaurant is lovely, with an air of chic casual. The bar area is quardened and very nice. Great place for a date. The food is fresh, well presented, and the flavors come through exquisitely.

I went to Miyagi 3 days in one week. Each time I got food to go. I asked for a small container of white rice. Why are they so petty that they need to charge me $2.50 for something that probably cost them .15 cents. That’s over 16 times cost. Because of principle I won’t go back!

45 dollars for lunch! Took 40 mins for food. Ate 2 unagi handrolls because they had no ikura. Ordered 2 oyster shooters, they cost 8.00 each... wow! 1 beer 8.00 too. Extremely expensive for bad service.

The customer service is constantly prompt, awesome vibes, very nice employees. Will eat here again when I arrive in town.

A staple spot anytime I'm in Sacramento. Great fresh fish, awesome staff. Always a pleasure to stop in for a cocktail or some grub.

Incredible food and service! We got to enjoy their happy hour and the lamb medallions they offer were melt-in-your-mouth! All of the food was amazing and our server was very attentive and anticipated all of our needs. Will absolutely be going back!

My preferred spot for delicious sushi. I love snacking here. The staff was very welcoming and sociable.

The service ended up being pretty poor, to the point where one of the bartenders had to yell at another one for leaving my order in the middle of the bar about 10 feet directly in front of me. Otherwise good food and drinks, but needs improvement.

Was visiting for the evening from out of town and so we decided to go to dinner. I only used my credit card for dinner at Miyagi''s and then left town. The very next day I was notified by my credit card company that my card was compromised and someone tried to use it for $550 at the Carmichael, Ca. Home Depot. This has never happened to be so I thought I'd reach out to the owner at Miyagi''s to let him know he might have an internal employee theft problem so I left my # on Friday evening with a woman who took my # and it's now Mon. And still have not heard from anyone. So for the review, I'd say the service was slow and inconsistent, the Rainbow Roll was mediocre and the sushi bar was more of a college bar then a restaurant. Wouldn't be surprised if the place gets shut down soon .

Delicious!!! We went with friends who are regulars here. I can see why! So fresh, delicious, unique and a great atmosphere. I LOVE SUSHI! The sushi chef prepared some very unique dishes for us as well as some favorites that were on the menu. They have a great happy hour too. I definitely recommend this place.

Great Sushi!!! We ordered a rainbow roll, Alaska, and a California roll... just playing in safe since it was our first time. Everything was great... food, location, and service.

Next time I will take pics... This place is fantastic.This is the best sushi restaurant in Sacramento, hands down. My wife had a chicken and asparagus roll--which can be considered an intro to real sushi. She was also able to try (and love) the maguro nigiri I ordered for us. I had a sashimi plate and we picked at a chef's roll--which was so perfectly executed, fresh, and rewarding.

We love Jimmy and have had many memorable meals at this spot. Overall, the service is usually excellent, although very occasionally the bar side can get really packed. The rolls are wonderful, the fish is fresh, and there is always something inventive and fun to try out.They have a lovely patio, the drinks are delicious, and I think it's one of the best happy hour spots in town. One of our favorite spots!

Great food & great people.

I love sushi but I didn't really love this place. The customer service I received was excellent David was an amazing serving and I want to thank him for that. The menu itself was quite interesting it was just a sheet of paper with words on both sides no pictorial indication of what you might be getting. The deep fried oysters were really good . Bento box which is the only safe thing I knew to order. Probably never going back.
